Our unit medics have access to the same equipment as you’d expect to find on a front-line, emergency ambulance and will alongside your production staff to ensure the utmost safety and welfare of your cast and crew and can be deployed to work anywhere in the UK, or indeed the world to maintain the same level of service throughout your entire production.

Our advisors can operate remotely, producing and reviewing contractor risk assessments to ensure that relevant hazards have been identified and appropriate mitigations arranged. Alternatively, and usually more appropriately, our advisors can provide on-set advice and ensure compliance with established procedures to maintain good safety culture, as well as undertaking location audits to identify hazards and issues early in the planning process so that suitable arrangements can be made to prevent the risk.

Venue/Sportsground Medical Cover

Many venues across the country are now realising the importance and value of having professional medical assistance based on-site whenever they are open. Having good on-site medical staffing can bring a host of benefits such as less lost time with other staff having to stop what they are doing to deal with the incident, but also promotes a a high level of quality care for the patient at your venue and provides a good deal of reassurance to your patrons while projecting a professional image for your venue.

In the case of sportsgrounds, there can also be sports association regulations that dictate you need to arrange and maintain a specific level of medical coverage for game days and such like.

We work with venues and sportsgrounds to establish their medical needs and then provide appropriate equipment and staffing on as regular basis as is required to meet those needs. We can provide venues with a wide range of staff from first responders through to paramedics, nurses and doctors.

Event/Venue Health and Safety

Our team can help you deliver efficient and safe events with ease, taking responsibility for all aspects of event safety from the early stages, all the way through planning to the actual execution of the event. This leaves you free to focus on delivering an event that is unforgettable rather than fretting about risk assessments.

We can provide advisors from a range of backgrounds to support the needs of your event and can help with risk assessments, engaging with stakeholders and local authorities through to producing bespoke event and emergency management plans that we can oversee during the execution of your event.

Construction and Industrial Medical Cover

Only pipped by the agriculture sector, the construction and industrial sectors unfortunately remain some of the most dangerous sectors of occupation, making the prevalence of injury unfortunately very high.

We can provide professional, ambulance-grade medics to your construction site or industrial operation who will be able to respond to incidents alongside your established staff and provide specialist medical assistance in order to help bring the incident to a close. Where necessary, we can even produce teams with specialist training such as confined space or water rescue capabilites.

The added advantage of on-site medical teams is increased staff safety and welfare, with our medical staff being able to be on hand at all times even for more minor injury or ailments that would otherwise cause an employee to have to go off site to seek treatment.

Business Health and Safety Consultancy

Expansion in business is exciting, it’s significant of your hard work beginning to pay off. However, it does not come without increased responsibility and risk. For instance, if you are a small business that has recently taken on their first employee(s), then you should be aware that you now have a host of responsibilities towards them in terms of workplace safety and welfare.

Equally, good health and safety acumen being introduced in the early stages of a businesses development is ideal, as this reduces the risk of injury and incident and in turn reduces the risk of lost time or even costly litigation or regulatory fines.

The good news is, Medirek can help by consulting with you to ensure compliance with HSE regulations, audit your workplace and procedures to identify any issues and implement new processes to reduce any risk of incident or injury.
